Abstract. The issues of history and etymology of the concept of "fascism" not be affected in this article, but the main task is to reveal
its essence and give a definition to him. There are different definitions and interpretations of the concept of "fascism", which in most
cases represent an aggregate of characteristics that are based on historical experience. But to find a theoretical definition which is
emanating from the Laws of Nature, in this case, from the Laws of Sociodynamics – the science about social stability, is more important.
At the beginning of the article briefly is said about the phase states and transition processes of society, and then is said about fascism as
about an ideology and its connection with the concept "faith". In the third part of the article briefly is said about the forms of Social
Governance, the determinate transitions of which are lead to fascism. On the basis of all this is output the sought definition, and at the
end of the article is submitted the main conclusion, allowing giving an objective assessment about the existence of fascism, which is
important for purposes the warning of the development of modern fascism in one or another country.
